Anzac Highway Underpass

The state government announced in April 2006 that properties on the western side of South Road between Forest Street at Glandore and Tennyson Street at Kurralta Park would be acquired to construct the underpass.

In July 2006, the government appointed the 'AdelaideConnect' consortium to develop a design and costing to construct the project and to undertake a program of community consultation.

The government is nearing completion of the process of purchasing a significant number of properties required for the project.

Grange Road to Port Road upgrade

Ongoing project planning work will continue to be undertaken over the next one to two years. The department anticipates, at this stage, that construction works will not start on this project for at least another three years.
