Senior Technical Officer

The Senior Technical Officer, Traffic Operations is accountable to the Supervising Technical Officer, Traffic Operations for:

• providing a range of significant technical services to facilitate efficient, effective traffic flow on the Adelaide metropolitan road network
• undertaking specialist computer modelling and significantly complex technical analysis of traffic operations proposals for intersections and route coordination schemes
• developing and preparing effective and appropriate traffic signal operating strategies
• developing and preparing traffic operations concepts and designs, including determining lane and phasing requirements.
