NB - In accordance with the provisions of the Rail Safety Act 2007 (SA), incumbents engaged to carry out Rail Safety Work (as defined in Section 9 of the Act) shall not carry out Rail Safety Work whilst alcohol or a prescribed drug is present in their blood/oral fluid or if impaired by alcohol and/or other drugs. Rail Safety Workers are required to submit to the Alcohol and Other Drug Testing Program which includes random, show cause and post-incident testing.
